Dream Interpretation: How to Understand Your Dreams
Dreams are an amazing tool for self-growth. There are many philosophies about dreams and their purposes, but I’ll share my belief with you.
I believe that we are all soul having a human experience for the purpose of helping us grow and learn more about ourselves and about life. We are always connected to our higher-self (soul) and to a universal energy (you may call this God, Spirit or the universe). Our Higher-self and Spirit are always working on our behalf to help us learn and grow. One of the ways that our Higher-self or Spirit communicates with us in the physical sense is through dreams. Dreams can come to teach us, give us guidance about some aspect of our life, warn us about future events, and for many other reasons that benefit us in some way or another.
The Dream Sensor
The only trouble with this direct communication and guidance is that our higher-self is met with a sensor, put in place by our physical self or the mind, in order to protect us from too much truth that may shock our human state of consciousness. Because of this sensor Dreams then show up symbolically, often as a seemingly meaningless mixture of events, objects and occurrences. This is why our dreams are the way they are.
