All of us have people that we look up to; people we look at and say, “Now there is a person who has it all.” We never dare to consider that perhaps what we see in them is actually a shadow of who we are–of our own potential greatness.
“The only things we really see in others are reflections of ourselves.” ~ Gabe Saporta
These observations we make about others actually contain great insight into who we are, because what we admire in others is actually an inner recognition of something we ourselves are capable of.
A large part of developing a healthy sense of self and building self-confidence lies in recognizing who we are, and following through by actualizing our qualities and goals.
By taking action towards becoming more of who we are, we begin to building self-confidence, and our belief in ourselves.
In this fun exercise, you will learn how to identify the qualities that you want to develop in yourself by first identifying the qualities that you admire in the people that you look up to in your life, in the media, or even in history.
